Light Painting
Technical Stats -
Aperture - 3.6
Shutter Speed - 10'
ISO - 100
I decided to do light painting because it shows all the lines that you would normally never see because of the really slow shutter speed. Also it is amazing that you can draw something that no one can see until they look at the picture.

Gimp assignment 6
For my sixth gimp assignment I did a visual dictionary, using the word parkour. The reason I used this word is because I have a big interest in how people are able to move so fast and fluid through all the obstacles, without hurting themselves.

Nature
Technical Stats-
ISO - 100
Aperture - 5.3
Shutter Speed - 1/80
I decided to take pictures of nature, because I wanted to show the calmness and the true beauty of nature. The reason I went with this picture is because it shows how even during winter mother nature gets a little sad.
Change the School
In this assignment we were told to go around the school and take pictures and find a spot that you would like to change and make it into anything you want, but you had to still have some resemblance to the school. I decided to change the court yard into an area were two people are playing paintball.

Macro
Technical Stats
Aperture - 4.6
Shutter Speed - 1/60
ISO - 100
In this photo assignment I chose to do macro, because to me it shows some of the smallest of details and can show what the eye normally can not see.

Gimp Assignment 5
I learned that there is more then one type of way to take motion pictures. I originally thought there was only capturing everything with a high shutter speed and everything being sharp, instead having the background blurred and the subject being clear and in focus.

Portrait
Tech notes-
Aperture f#- 4.64
Shutter speed- 1/60
ISO- 100
In this assignment I took some pictures of sculptures I own, and took them like I was taking a picture of an actual person. The reason I took the picture in a vertical format is to make a portrait instead of it being a horizontal to make it like a normal picture.

Gimp Assignment 4
In this assignment we were told to go out and find an interesting place to take three pictures, and after we had taken the pictures we had to use gimp to connect them and make it look like it was just one big picture instead of three smaller ones. There were some challenging parts to this assignment, because the first day doing anything on gimp, our teacher was out sick, so it was a lot of trial and error. But after about 45 minutes I had started to figure out the harder parts of the assignment.

Black and White
Technical Stats
Aperture f#- 5
ISO- 100
Shutter Speed- 1/100
In this assignment I decided to take pictures of black and white, because I felt it would show the fine details of the presidential statues that I own. I took all the pictures in color and then using photoshop I made them into black and white. I choose this picture of President Kennedy, because I feel it reveals the depth of detail on the statue and is shown in greater depth in black and white.

Gimp Assignment 3
In this assignment we learned about the three point lighting portrait, and how we can use just a window and a piece of paper to accomplish the effect of the three point lighting system. The picture on the left was taken in a studio, while the picture on the right was taken next to a window with a piece of paper to the right of the subject to bounce some light on there face to give them less of a shadow on half of their face.

Animal
I chose this as my best picture, because I feel that it shows that Nonni loves to be outside and enjoys to play catch. In this assignment I got to take pictures of my dog doing what she loves to do. I thought for this assignment it would be good to get some pictures of her inside and out.

Motion
What I did was take pictures of marbles dropping from a couple inches above the camera and took pictures as the marbles would bounce to try to catch them in the motion of bouncing. I picked this as my favorite because some of the marbles have bounced out of focus, and some are moving quicker then others.
